SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for a wide variety of duties primarily related to daily sales within the store.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Processing inbound purchase orders received by warehouse personnel
  • Processing cash, check and credit card purchases for remittance to corporate office
  • Compiling and submitting time and attendance records of store employees for manager approval and submission to corporate
  • Post and process sales orders-assure that AFE or PO numbers are accurate
  • Monitor 'out of stock buyouts' for correct pricing information and PO number
  • Assure that customers sign for their purchases
  • Assure that receipts for 'out of stock buyouts' are attached to sales order
  • Answering phones if needed

Requirements

EHS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals
  • Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals
  • Complete, and actively participate in all the company's safety training requirements
  • Maintain a clean driving record in accordance with company insurance policy

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 years of experience in MS Office and basic data entry software
  • Navision software or ADP experience highly desirable

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position works inside a climate-controlled environment in a Bell Supply store. The Company will supply adequate training and equipment to perform the functions of the job.
