The Lawrence Production Center in Lawrence, Kansas is a fast-paced, 3-shift manufacturing environment that produces Hallmark's greeting cards and other specialty products. We bring Hallmark's creative concepts to life by making the products that help people live more caring, connected lives full of meaningful moments! The production center's priorities include delivering outstanding product quality & service, while simultaneously reducing cycle times and our total cost of product. We drive business performance through a focus on operational excellence, employee engagement, and Lean improvement focus across our teams.
WE ARE ESPECIALLY LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO:
  • Bring or have interest in building Power Apps / process automation capabilities
  • Are energized by improving how we leverage data to drive performance and decision-making
  • Have demonstrated success driving process improvements through data or analytics
  • Provides insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making across the plant

THE QUALITY TECHNICAL SPECIALIST ROLE:
  • Owns:
    • Advanced quality systems and analytics
  • Leads:
    • Quality Notifications (QNs) ownership
    • Dashboards and reporting (e.g., Power BI)
    • System governance and data quality

This position is based in the Lawrence Production Center.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong background in data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency (or strong interest in working) with tools such as Excel and data visualization/reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI)

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working with quality systems or operational data environments
  • Deep understanding of secondary processes, palettes and process constraints.
  • Strong knowledge of card materials and components.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
