The CAL Program Supervisor supports the daily operations and supervision of TERI's Choices for Adult Learning (CAL) program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This leadership role provides operational oversight, case management, staff supervision, quality assurance, and program development while fostering participant independence, community inclusion, health, safety, and overall quality of life. Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, including staffing, participant activities, transportation, and service delivery.
  • Provide case management and support participant intake, assessments, service planning, and transitions.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and support CAL staff while ensuring compliance with agency policies and DDS/Regional Center regulations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, families, conservators, residential providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Conduct program observations, documentation reviews, quality assurance activities, and corrective action follow-up to ensure program excellence.
  • Develop and enhance community partnerships that promote volunteer opportunities, vocational exploration, and meaningful community inclusion.
  • Assist the Director with program development, budgeting, employee performance management, and strategic initiatives, while serving as acting program lead in their absence.


Qualifications –

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Human Development, Special Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably adults with moderate to severe support needs.
  • 2+ years of supervisory, leadership, program coordination, or staff management experience.
  • Knowledge of person-centered practices, community-based services, Regional Center systems, and behavior support principles preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

$70,500.00 Salary
