Claims Processor

Onsite: Must live in or near Lexington, KY
$16 per hour 7:00am- 3:30pm Monday- Friday with Overtime Opportunities

About the Claims Processor role

As a member of the team, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as processing claims with specific detailed instructions to eligibility code, rate, coordination of benefits.  

You will be offered a competitive salary, benefits, and a supportive team environment

Job Details:

  • Training is on the job for 2 weeks. Will need to be willing to cross train in all areas.
  • Work schedule is 7:00 until 3:30pm, M-F with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
  • Sort, prepare, and scan up to 2,000 insurance claims and related documents daily.
  • Enter claim data into client systems throughout the workday.
  • Perform repetitive document handling tasks in a fast-paced environment. (removing staples, rubber bands, repairing torn documents, copying document types, and inserting patch sheets to separate claims).

  • Follow mailroom security procedures and all company procedures.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

 Requirements:

  • Must be able to complete a typing test/Please do not take typing test via phone.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must pass a required drug screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Basic data entry skills are a plus.

Pay is $16/hour which may be below your states minimum wage.  Please take this into consideration when applying.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640-$37,050.
