We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Warehouse Checker to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all inbound and outbound shipments. After pallets are received, labeled, and moved into position, the Warehouse Checker performs a thorough audit to confirm that all items are present, correctly labeled, and undamaged. The ideal candidate has solid warehouse experience, a sharp eye for detail, and is bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Inspect pallets after they have been received, labeled, and positioned in the warehouse
- Verify that all items on the pallet match the corresponding purchase order, manifest, or shipping documentation
- Count and confirm quantities โ identify and flag any shortages, overages, or missing items immediately
- Check that all labels are correctly applied, legible, and match item descriptions
- Document discrepancies accurately and communicate findings to supervisors and receiving team
- Coordinate with forklift operators and warehouse associates to resolve discrepancies before items are stocked
- Conduct random audits of stored inventory as directed
- Maintain accurate records of all checks performed (paper or digital)
- Support receiving and shipping teams during peak periods
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures
- Communicate findings clearly in English and Spanish as needed
- Minimum 1โ2 years of warehouse experience in a checking, auditing, receiving, or inventory control role
- Strong ability to read and interpret packing lists, manifests, and purchase orders
- Exceptional attention to detail โ must catch what others miss
- Experience using RF scanners and/or warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to count and verify large quantities quickly and accurately
- Bilingual โ English/Spanish (required)
- High level of reliability and integrity โ this role directly impacts inventory accuracy
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience in a distribution center, 3PL, or high-volume warehouse environment
- Familiarity with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
- Basic computer skills for documentation (spreadsheets, WMS entry)
- Prior experience in quality control or loss prevention roles
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Bending, stooping, and reaching to inspect pallets at floor level and on racks
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour. Competitive pay based on experience. Full benefits access is granted after successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, including health insurance, paid time off, and a pay increase.
