Expectations:

We are looking for a motivated individual who has a steady work history. We need experienced and responsible assembly associates, who value quality in their work and take pride in the results. Successful candidates will be trained to proficiently assemble various models of grills and other outdoor kitchen equipment. All necessary tools will be provided, it’s expected that all candidates are able to use small power tools and be comfortable with shop instructions. During a typical shift, this position regularly performs heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and will be required to stand on concrete floors for extended periods of time.

Job Description:

  • A fully integrated assembly of all Crown Verity products, in accordance with documented Engineering assembly instructions, including, but not limited to the:
  • Assembly of legs, casters, and wheels o Connecting of natural gas/liquid propane manifolds and hoses.
  • Installation of lighter tube, radiants and burner tubes into appliance chassis.
  • Reading of sales order and custom requests, for inclusion in assembly
  • Performance testing of the assembled appliance.
  • Perform spot inspections of parts and finished goods, report discrepancies.
  • Supporting of inventory control, through careful usage and communication of Kanban requirements
  • Preparation of the appliance for safe transportation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area and workstation environment.
  • Ensure all production tools are kept clean, stored and in working order.
  • Wear all the required PPE when executing daily production tasks.
  • Perform and/or assist with preventative, minor, and major maintenance functions as necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures and is accountable for the health and safety of all employees

 Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to use various power tools (drill, saw, nail gun, staple gun)
  • Ability to a read tape measure
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
