CAD System Operator – Direct Hire Opportunity (Northern Kentucky)

$70,000-80,000 per year starting salary, depending on experience

Our client in Northern Kentucky is seeking a detail-oriented CAD System Operator to join their team in a direct hire role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with production teams, creating accurate technical drawings, and supporting manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary
The CAD System Operator is responsible for creating accurate and precise drawings used in the manufacturing of precast concrete products. Working closely with the Plant Manager and production team, this role helps ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and compliant with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software
  • Produce technical plans, schematics, and models for customers, production, and installation teams
  • Develop foundation model drawings using precast concrete products
  • Perform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with the Plant Manager to confirm layouts and production requirements
  • Maintain organized electronic files and project documentation
  • Troubleshoot design and software-related issues as needed
  • Stay current on industry standards and design practices
