Founded by our Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated health care model to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Practice Highlights:
  • Provide primary care/clinical procedures, and admin services, in a teaching CHC, under a model practice agreement plan per WA regs.
  • Flexible 4/10 schedule.
  • Must have strong clinical training/experience to meet the needs of a complex patient population.
  • Our highly collegial Interdisciplinary team includes Faculty Physicians, Clinicians, Resident Physicians, APPs, Pharmacists, BHCs, and nursing.
  • Integrated services including primary care behavioral health with BHCs on site.
  • Excellent support and resources provided.
  • Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
  • EMR: OCHIN EPIC.
Total Rewards:

Qualifications:
  • Physician Assistant Certification.
  • WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
  • DEA certificate.
  • Great peer references and in good standing.
  • Approved for credentialing with health plans, Medicare, Medicaid.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years as a PA preferably working in a PC/UC setting.
