Position Overview

We are actively seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) General Otolaryngologist to join our dynamic team at Sierra Healthcare. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Los Angeles, California, where you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional ear, nose, and throat care.

Work Environment

The position is situated within a modern hospital facility, designed to support our medical teams in delivering high-quality healthcare. The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that many in the medical field desire. Importantly, this role involves no evening or weekend work, significantly enhancing the overall quality of life for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care as an ENT specialist, evaluating and managing a wide range of conditions affecting the ear, nose, and throat.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures including flexible laryngoscopy and nasal endoscopy, essential for accurate assessments and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of ENT physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Diagnose and treat various medical problems, developing tailored care plans effectively; these plans may include prescribing medications, ordering laboratory tests, and performing minor surgical procedures.
  • Maintain an organized schedule of patient appointments while managing ongoing communication with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
  • Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for documenting patient interactions and ensuring seamless coordination in care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an ENT physician at Sierra Healthcare, you will serve a diverse patient population, addressing both common and complex conditions across all age groups. Our commitment is to deliver compassionate and effective healthcare, tailored to each patientโ€™s unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a valid California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in otolaryngology or related fields such as primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine.
  • A valid DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate documentation and patient information management.
Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience in otolaryngology, with specific capabilities in flexible laryngoscopy and other minor clinical procedures.
  • Clinical rotations or professional experience that demonstrates your ability to evaluate and manage ENT conditions effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
