Principal Accountabilities

  • Start up and shut down of a production line, making mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting equipment
  • Ensure all production paperwork is completed, which will require basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Responsible for containing and proactively addressing potential problems that may arise to limit disruptions to production
  • Ensuring all processing steps have been completed, and a quality product is delivered to the customer (all food handler tasks were completed properly; i.e. proper packaging, weights are in acceptable range)
  • Maintain adherence to all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Follow and champion personal and food safety policies and procedures as well as reporting all concerns or violations to the Leadership Team

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic math such as Addition, Subtraction, Division, and Multiplication
  • Must be willing to work in hot, cold and wet environment with cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends and/or holidays as needed with advanced notice

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous food manufacturing experience
  • Previous experience in a fast paced, safety focused environment
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects with little to no supervision
