Job description

Join Hamilton Lane, a global leader in private markets, as we scale to meet the demands of our growing client base. Here, you'll work with ambitious, highperforming teams built on integrity, candor and collaboration, backed by our market-leading data and technology. We invest heavily in our people and our partners, giving you the platform to enrich lives, safeguard futures and grow your career.
What We Do
As one of the largest private markets investment firms globally, we provide innovative solutions to institutional and private wealth investors around the world, specializing in flexibility and full-spectrum access. We currently employ approximately 800 professionals operating in offices throughout North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and have $1.0 trillion in assets under management and supervision, composed of $146.1 billion in discretionary assets and $871.5 billion in non-discretionary assets, as of December 31, 2025.

The Opportunity:

We're hiring a Vice President, Wealth Management Marketing to own the marketing strategy and execution for the private wealth channel in the Americas. You'll set the go-to-market strategy across RIAs, independent broker-dealers, wirehouses, and private banks, and be accountable for driving measurable impact against it not just awareness, but conversion and client acquisition.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Own the marketing strategy for the Americas private wealth channel across all client touchpoints, with the goal of expanding Hamilton Lane's reach, deepening client relationships, and acquiring new clients
  • Translate distribution priorities into a clear marketing plan: audience segmentation (RIAs, IBDs, wirehouses, family offices), campaign calendar, content strategy, and channel mix
  • Define how Hamilton Lane's brand and value proposition show up distinctly in the wealth channel
  • Drive channel strategy; how paid, owned, and earned work together to build the brand and drive business objectives
  • Lead integrated campaigns for fund launches, share class expansions, and Evergreen product milestones, spanning digital, content, events, and advisor-facing tools
  • Partner with product and marketing teams on thought leadership, market commentary, and educational content that helps advisors talk to clients about private markets
  • Own the advisor- and client-facing content and materials that support the sales process
  • Build repeatable playbooks for new fund launches and product placements across channel partners
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to the private wealth sales organization - wholesalers, internal sales, and key account teams - building the tools, content, and campaigns that make them more effective in the field
  • Partner with the Head of Private Wealth and regional sales leadership to identify where marketing can move the needle on conversion, not just awareness

Your background will include:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with meaningful time in private markets, alternative investments, or broader asset/wealth management
  • Direct experience marketing to financial advisors, RIAs, or the wealth management channel. You understand how advisors make decisions and what moves them.
  • A track record of owning integrated campaigns end-to-end: strategy through execution, across content, digital, and events
  • A self-starter who spots the opportunity before being asked and figures out how to get it done
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations rather than just reporting on it
  • Sharp writing and communication instincts; you can translate complex investment concepts (Evergreen structures, drawdown vehicles, GP/LP economics) into content that resonates with advisors and their clients
  • Fluency with marketing technology platforms (e.g., CRM, digital marketing tools, Seismic)
  • A builder's mindset with genuine enthusiasm for shaping a growing strategy, not just running an established playbook
