Position Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for assisting in executing the sales strategy to develop partner relationships, assist in the expansion of our Equipment Finance and Working Capital offering and attain assigned volume growth objectives within designated territory and/or Regional Sales Manager territory. Position will include actively managing partner contact, expectations, new product/program development, and the sales pipeline. Works closely with the Regional Sales Manager for assigned territory. The best candidates will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to be a part of a rapidly growing business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Works with Regional Sales Manager to define sales strategy and key business targets for assigned territory
  • Identifies and develops partners and prospects within the assigned territory who value a premium product and customer experience
  • Works strategically to “understand and connect” Partner’s needs with the value-add benefits of Channel products
  • Maintains partner communications and relationships actively to ensure retention of existing business and expansion of opportunities within the assigned RSR and RSM territories.
  • A point of contact for day-to-day partner inquiries and problem-solving, working directly with the Regional Sales Manager and Inside Sales Manager.
  • Manages exceptions and escalations as required, ensuring swift resolution
  • Manages an active pipeline of open approvals for all lending products
  • Identifies, assesses, and solves current and potential problems by analyzing information, reports, and data
  • Has a detailed understanding of CPC’s credit matrix, funding processes and portal
  • Runs and reviews a variety of sales and pipeline reports to ensure optimized process efficiency and customer ease of use
  • Performs other duties as required

Education & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years selling experience in equipment finance and leasing
  • Demonstrated track record of reaching assigned sales goals
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Able to travel domestically 25%.
