Work Arrangement:This is a 100% in-office position in our downtown Salt Lake City, UT offices. Candidates must be available to work from a corporate hub five days a week; hybrid or remote work is not an option.
Role Overview

The Marketing Channel Strategist will be responsible for managing and editing digital content using a content management system (CMS) as well as playing a direct role in executing email campaigns. This role requires a strong command of language, excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of CMS platforms and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The candidate should have a good understanding of digital execution platforms along with ensuring all content complies with regulatory and brand guidelines. This role is for someone who is enthusiastic about channel execution excellence, digital user experience, and channel optimization while being a trusted partner to marketing, technology, and business teams across the enterprise organization.
Key Responsibilities  

  • Content Author responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital content within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Build web pages, upload images, format text, and ensure proper content structure according to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketers to enhance user experience and maintain consistency across digital properties.
  • Responsible for the management of email marketing programs which include both ongoing programs and ad hoc support for product launches and campaigns. 
  • Participate in strategy, creative content, database management, coding, testing, deployment, and tracking digital communications across multiple channels (email, website, social media, etc.). 
  • Participates in building lead capture forms on the website and data capture in SFMC. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including management of external partners. 
  • Responsible for production and publishing monthly email/lead generation analytics. 
  • Act as a liaison between bank lines of business and the marketing group to ensure that all content is current. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a degree in Marketing or another related field and 2 years of digital marketing or other directly related experience. 
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with AEM or other CMS components, templates, and workflows as well as managing Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization and Customer Relationship Management. 
  • Experience in the management of email marketing programs, support with ongoing programs, and email journeys.
  • Experience can be a combination of education and digital platforms experience while working in an environment with a strong adherence to compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Knowledge of as well as experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage tracking, analytics and reporting of data. 
  • Solid written, verbal, and visual communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills. 
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to take initiative and lead projects. 
  • Ability to learn new trends and technologies that enhances lead generation and sales efforts. 
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft programs.
