Job description

Job Requirements

        Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-level donors, emerging major donors, and corporate partners.

        Manage and grow a portfolio of 100-125 donors and prospects through prospect research, personalized outreach, and regular face-to-face engagement.

        Develop and implement a corporate giving strategy aligned with Foundation priorities, focused on building and sustaining long-term partnerships.

        Plan and execute donor cultivation and fundraising initiatives, including meetings, tours, receptions, and engagement events.

        Lead sponsorship strategy and execution for Foundation fundraising events.

        Prepare donor-facing materials, including proposals, presentations, gift agreements, and impact reports.

        Partner with the stewardship team to design and implement comprehensive donor communication and stewardship plans.

        Serve as liaison to the Corporate Development Committee and other assigned committees.

        Collaborate with Foundation colleagues, shared services, and organizational partners to advance donor strategies and fundraising goals.

        Represent the Foundation at community, business, and networking events to enhance visibility and engagement.

        Maintain accurate and timely donor records, including contact reports, gifts, pledges, and biographical information, within the CRM system.

        Utilize data and reporting to strengthen the donor pipeline, identify prospects, and track fundraising performance.

        Support and participate in Foundation events, meetings, and key initiatives.

        Maintain a strong understanding of organizational programs, priorities, and policies to effectively communicate impact.

        Participate in development team planning, strategy development, and organizational meetings.

        Perform all other duties as assigned.


Work Experience

Required:

        Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

        Five (5) years of fundraising experience, with demonstrated success securing charitable gifts.

        Experience in donor moves management, portfolio development, and stewardship.

        Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT, Blackbaud Analytics, ResearchPoint, iWave, Foundation Directory Online) or similar donor management systems.

        Previous experience working with donors and volunteers.

        Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Preferred: 

        Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) certification

        Previous experience working in a large, complex health or university setting.
