Job description

  • Make a Meaningful Impact Through Philanthropy in Healthcare
    About the Role
    As a Senior Development Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing philanthropy across annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and entry-level major gifts. You'll partner closely with Foundation leadership to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. In addition to fundraising, you'll contribute to the operational strength of the Foundation-supporting board and committee activities, annual fund allocation processes, and community fundraising events.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Assist development efforts in:
      • Annual giving campaigns
      • Corporate partnerships and sponsorships
      • Entry-level major gift cultivation and solicitation
    • Build meaningful relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners
    • Partner with Foundation Directors and central office teams to align strategies and maximize impact
    • Steward donors through thoughtful engagement and recognition activities
    • Support Foundation operations, including:
      • Annual allocation processes
      • Board and committee meetings
      • Third-party fundraising events
    • Maintain accurate donor records and reporting within database systems

Experience/Education/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree and/or CFRE preferred.
  • Five (5) years professional experience in development, fundraising or a related area required.
  • Experience or training in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Experience or training with donor databases such as Raisers Edge preferred.
  • Experience in volunteer engagement and management preferred.
