Job description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Client Services Navigator I to join our Client Services Team team located at the Chickasaw Employment Access working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
The Client Services Navigator I performs at an intermediate level and is responsible for a full range of navigation duties. In this role, the Client Services Navigator I is responsible for completing work assignments independently and making decisions concerning various navigation counseling activities with minimal supervision. In addition to processing incoming Chickasaw Employment Access (CEA) applications and conducting intake interviews with applicants to determine program eligibility, the Navigator I is responsible for responding to complex and difficult inquiries and assists with problem resolution.
Responsibilities:

  • Works diligently with CEA applicants and CEA program staff providing optimal services and assistance to achieve the established goals of Client Services while making sure customer service is top priority
  • Monitors the Tribal Applications Internet Quorum (IQ) system for incoming CEA applications and process applications in accordance with established minimum CEA program eligibility guidelines
  • Provides application assistance to applicants as needed to answer questions and to ensure accuracy
  • Screens, reviews, and verifies required application documents and follow up with applicants on discrepancies
  • Conducts intake interviews with each applicant to assess pre-employment training needs and to determine eligibility for specific CEA programs
  • Assesses the immediate needs of each applicant and make referrals to other tribal and community services as needed
  • Completes drug screen training and assist upper level career counselors with random and scheduled drug screens of CEA participants following established collection protocols and procedures
  • Maintains all correspondence and documentation of participants including forms and records of intake interviews within the Tribal Applications Internet Quorum (IQ) system
  • Monitors and maintains the CEA division IQ system ensuring data compliance and tracking
  • Develops and maintains systems to monitor and evaluate CEA division data to ensure information is accurate and well documented, make recommendations to management and develop plans to improve the quality of services provided to CEA participants
  • Participates in meetings to ensure effective communication with staff, peers, supervisors and management
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of every program within the CEA division and stay well-informed of the unique needs and/or barriers faced by the participants served in each program
  • Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
  • Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
  • Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types

  • Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
