The Walmart Category Leadership Team Lead serves as Campbell's primary Category Advisor and strategic thought partner for a large and complex category advisorship. This role is accountable for category strategy, customer influence, team leadership, capability development, modular relay, and business results. The Team Lead translates data and insights into category growth strategies, partners directly with Walmart decision makers, develops Campbell's talent, and ensures the delivery of best-in-class category recommendations and modular execution.
What you will do...
โ€ข Serve as the primary category advisor and strategic partner to Walmart merchant and cross-functional Walmart stakeholders.
โ€ข Lead category growth recommendations for strategy, assortment, clustering, digital and in-store shelving, and omni-channel category insights.
โ€ข Own category review, line review prep, and executive-level presentations for Walmart leadership.
โ€ข Lead, coach, and develop Category Leadership Manager and Associate Manager.
โ€ข Establish priorities, allocate resources, and ensure best-in-class execution against team objectives and timelines.
โ€ข Drive continuous improvement, automation adoption, and capability-building initiatives.
โ€ข Identify emerging category, shopper, digital shelf, and competitive retailer trends and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
โ€ข Deliver proactive recommendations that improve category performance and shopper outcomes.
โ€ข Provide meaningful and actionable category analysis and insights
โ€ข Lead modular planning, modular development including drawing, automation, and generation, execution timelines, and implementation quality of major modulars.

What you bring to the table... (Must have)
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Experience: 8+ years of business experience with 5+ years of Walmart category advisorship experience
Working Conditions
Hybrid work model based in Rogers, AR. Occasional travel required. Work may occasionally require physical activity and lifting up to 30 lbs. in layout centers, stores, or modular room.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$144,600-$198,800
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
