One Tech Engineering is searching for a Category Manager for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Category Manager supports sourcing and contracting efforts for battery storage initiatives.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, or strategic sourcing.
Category Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate a variety of supplier agreements, including master service agreements (MSAs) and project-specific contracts.
- Lead commercial negotiations and review contract terms to mitigate risk and achieve favorable business outcomes.
- Lead and support RFP, RFI, and RFQ initiatives, owning the full sourcing lifecycle from strategy and planning through execution, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders to support business and project objectives.
- Manage multiple contracts, sourcing events, and workstreams simultaneously while ensuring alignment to timelines, commercial objectives, and procurement standards.
- Balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Requirements of the Category Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, or strategic sourcing.
