The Coordinator RN - CV (ASC) provides advanced perioperative leadership as the circulating RN for all cardiovascular procedures performed within the ASC including cardiology, electrophysiology (EP), and cardiac catheterization services while supporting the ongoing development, optimization, and daily operations of the ASC's cardiovascular procedural program.


This role ensures evidence-based nursing practice, moderate sedation safety, radiation safety/ALARA, equipment and supply readiness, and multidisciplinary workflow design consistent with AORN, CMS Conditions for Coverage, and Texas ASC requirements.  workflow design consistent with AORN, CMS Conditions for Coverage, and Texas ASC requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN, BSN, or Diploma) 
  • Current, active Texas RN license or current multistate/compact RN license in good standing with eligibility to practice in Texas
  • BLS & ACLS 
  • CNOR, CCRN, CVRNBC, or RCIS, Competency to administer/monitor moderate sedation  
  • 5+ years recent RN experience in cardiac Cath lab, interventional cardiology, EP, hybrid OR, or interventional radiology, with ability to circulate and support scrub as needed in CV procedures 
  • Solid hemodynamic monitoring, rhythm recognition, EP/Cath procedural flow, sterile technique, and emergency response (defib/external pacing/code management)  
  • Proven excellent interdisciplinary communication and ability to collaborate effectively with all team members

  • BSN 
  • ASC experience and/or Cath lab program startup/expansion


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 to $62.50 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
