This is a Remote role.

Overview
The Capability Manager is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and delivering business capabilities that enable US Employer solutions. This role goes beyond execution-it requires thought leadership, influencing senior business owners, and driving strategic outcomes. As a trusted advisor, the Capability Manager partners with business leaders to define future-state capabilities and collaborates with technology teams to deliver solutions that create measurable value. The position demands strong analytical skills, the ability to drive consensus in complex environments, and a focus on enabling change adoption. This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a thought leader who anticipates business needs, challenges assumptions, and drives innovative capability strategies aligned with enterprise goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior business owners, acting as a trusted advisor to translate strategic objectives into actionable capability roadmaps
  • Conduct deep analysis to clarify business needs, validate value assertions, and perform impact assessments across complex stakeholder ecosystems
  • Lead the end-to-end capability lifecycle-from ideation and Lean Business Case development to delivery and operational readiness-ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Manage diverse stakeholder groups, including SMEs and key decision-makers, fostering collaboration and maintaining transparency throughout the delivery process
  • Partner closely with technology teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives, integrate seamlessly, and deliver expected outcomes
  • Engage operational readiness resources early to ensure smooth adoption, including communications, training, SOP development, and process mapping

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 5+ years in a capability, product, or strategic delivery role
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus in a matrixed environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complexity and bring clarity
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to articulate strategy and details to varied audiences
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity in evolving environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word)
