Job description

Services provides global solutions that help corporations, financial institutions, public sector and commercial clients optimize operations and drive their business forward. Through our five business lines – Liquidity Management Services, Payments, Trade & Working Capital Solutions, Investor Services and Issuer Services - we provide cash management, payments/receivables solutions, working capital solutions, post-trade securities services and issuer services across Citi’s global network.

The Services AI Team is a specialized team dedicated to harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence to transform service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience across business functions. Our Mission is to design, develop, and deploy reusable AI-driven capabilities that automate, augment, and optimize service operations — enabling faster, smarter, and more scalable outcomes for internal teams and end customers alike. The AI Product & Capability Manager will be a key strategic and executional leader for this agenda — a role that is simultaneously commercial, technical, risk-aware, and advocacy-driven.

Responsibilities
  • Define and own the end-to-end AI product strategy and roadmap, ensuring capabilities are built to be reusable, scalable, and applicable across a broad range of business processes and use cases.
  • Champion a platform-first approach to product development, identifying opportunities to standardize and abstract capabilities so they can be leveraged efficiently across teams.
  • Lead cross-functional technology teams through the full product lifecycle — from discovery and design through build, launch, and continuous optimization — maintaining delivery momentum at every stage.
  • Translate customer research, data insights, and product metrics into clearly prioritized requirements and user stories that enable delivery teams to execute with precision.
  • Build and maintain effective feedback loops with internal and external stakeholders to continuously validate product direction and surface actionable improvements.
  • Partner with risk, legal, and compliance to ensure all AI capabilities are designed, tested, and deployed in line with regulatory requirements and Citi's AI governance standards.
  • Manage the geographic rollout of AI products across 90+ countries, adapting solutions to meet local regulatory requirements and market needs while preserving global design consistency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated record of delivering large-scale, technology-led products from concept through production.
  • Direct experience building, launching, or scaling AI or machine learning-powered products or digital platforms, ideally within financial services or fintech.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to build business cases, contribute to P&L decisions, and make ROI-driven product investment choices.
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts, model risk management, responsible AI frameworks, and the enterprise governance requirements that govern their deployment.
  • Ability to navigate and build consensus across complex, matrixed global organizations — influencing outcomes and aligning stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts clearly for executive, technical, and client audiences.
  • Self-directed and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments — consistently delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure and against tight deadlines.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience collaborating with compliance, legal, or risk teams on the deployment of regulated AI or machine learning products.
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools and their practical application to enterprise productivity and workflow automation.
  • Background leading cross-functional product teams using agile delivery methodologies at scale.
What We Offer

Joining Citi's Services AI team means working on AI initiatives that directly shape how one of the world's largest financial institutions serves its clients and operates globally. You will have the strategic ownership, cross-functional reach, and organizational backing to deliver AI products with real, measurable impact — at scale.

  • Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, giving you the flexibility to perform at your best.
  • A senior leadership platform with genuine ownership over product strategy and delivery outcomes across a global AI agenda.
  • Exposure to AI innovation at enterprise scale, working on capabilities that span more than 90 countries and affect millions of clients and operations.
  • Collaboration with high-calibre teams across technology, risk, compliance, and business — giving you broad organizational reach and influence.
  • Access to learning and development resources to deepen your expertise in AI, product leadership, and financial services.
  • Competitive financial wellbeing support, including compensation and benefits aligned to the seniority and global scope of the role.
