Job description

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Enterprise Leadership Development Manager. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH North American Headquarters with hybrid work available. If candidates are not within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH remote work will be considered.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.

What you'll do:
The Enterprise Leadership Development Manager designs, develops, and governs scalable enterprise-wide leadership development pathways that build leadership capability, reinforce the Eaton Culture Model, and enables successful execution of enterprise strategy. This role operates as part of the Global Talent, Culture, and Development COE. In addition to leadership development ownership, the role includes a focused contribution to Organizational Change Management (OCM) capability building-ensuring leaders are equipped to lead change effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Enterprise Leadership Development (Primary Focus ~75-80%)
  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses with stakeholders to identify performance gaps and define learning objectives aligned the Eaton's leadership development and enterprise capability strategy
  • Design and evolve enterprise leadership development pathways across key leadership stages (e.g., first-time leader, expanded scope leaders, enterprise leadership readiness).
  • Translate enterprise leadership expectations, culture commitments, and Eaton Fundamentals into scalable learning architecture, standards, and tools.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise governance and standards for leadership development to ensure consistency across regions, functions, and businesses.
  • Manage the deployment strategy for enterprise programs and partner with deployment partners who will execute deployment
  • Partner with Talent, Learning, and HR leaders to align leadership development with the Eaton Culture Model, enterprise capability priorities, and succession needs.
  • Define success measures and continuously improve leadership development approaches based on best practices and aligned to enterprise outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and subject matter expertise on leadership development and enterprise capability-building
  • Curate content into high-impact learning pathways
  • Manage vendors in selection, negotiation, and quality control

Org Development and Organizational Change Management Capability Building (Supporting Focus ~20-25%)
  • Embed core change leadership principles into enterprise leadership development pathways.
  • Support the design of leader-ready OCM learning assets that build capability to lead change, manage transitions, and reinforce adoption.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure leadership development reflects how change is expected to be led at Eaton, without acting as a project change resource.
  • Support the development and/or curation of Org Effectiveness (Org Dev. Org Design, Org Change Management) learning pathways that support enterprise capability-building.

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in leadership development, learning, organization development, or similar roles.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Position Criteria:
  • Instructional design and adult learning theory skills.
  • Familiarity with processes related to skill identification and skill gap analysis.
  • Experience with digital transformations and technical upskilling.
  • Experience with performance analysis tools and techniques (e.g., needs analysis, root cause analysis, flow charting/ process mapping, job roles and responsibilities mapping, developing performance measures, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present and utilize metrics.
  • Communication skills, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, problem solving, and leading through ambiguity.
  • Experience with Prosci and/or other change management methodology; certification preferred
  • Experience with organizational design; certification preferred
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • 10% travel required.
