Job Title: Payroll Manager
Location: Lakewood, CO (Relocation assistance)
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $111,000 - $140,000/year, 10% target bonus
Overview
Global Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join their team!
Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle US and Canada payroll for approximately 2,000 employees
  • Manage complex payroll transactions, including handling overpayments, shift differentials, and planned terminations, with a strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance
  • Lead and develop the payroll team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient payroll processing
  • Manage payroll vendors and systems, including ADP Workforce Now and other platforms, to optimize payroll operations
  • Drive payroll process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Supervise and support 2 direct reports, fostering a collaborative team environment

Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including 4+ years in a payroll management or supervisory role
  • Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience is required
  • Strong payroll audit experience and knowledge of payroll laws and compliance
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now (4+ years preferred) or similar payroll systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage complex payroll transactions
