Job description

NOW HIRING!! A-Line is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support members with benefit enrollment and healthcare and pension plan inquiries. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting members through the enrollment process, updating benefit information, and providing exceptional customer support.

INBOUND BENEFIT ENROLLMENT CALL CENTER CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Buffalo, NY (Remote or Onsite)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM
Candidates must be available to work any shift within this time frame.

Remote Eligibility:
Must reside within 2 hours of the Buffalo facility.

Position Overview

Representatives will initially support one client account and will have opportunities to become cross-trained on additional accounts. Daily responsibilities include assisting members through inbound phone calls, web chat, and email communications.

This position is available as either remote or onsite for qualified local candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members with benefit enrollment and plan updates.
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries regarding healthcare and pension benefits.
  • Provide support via phone, email, and web chat.
  • Research and resolve customer questions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Navigate multiple computer applications and systems simultaneously.
  • Document customer interactions according to company procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
  • Deliver professional, empathetic, and solutions-oriented customer service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Benefits enrollment, healthcare, insurance, pension, or human resources experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems efficiently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Typing speed of at least 30 WPM preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a structured environment.
