Job description

FabFitFun is seeking a CRM Manager to join our Marketing team! FabFitFun is more than a subscription box, it's a membership business built around discovery, shopping, and engagement, and CRM sits at the center of that experience.
We're looking for a CRM Manager who is equal parts strategist, operator, analyst, and marketer. This person will own and optimize the member communication experience across email, SMS, and push, helping members discover products they love, engage more deeply with their membership, and ultimately drive growth for the business. You'll work closely with Merchandising, Creative, Product, Analytics, Engineering, and CX to bring our seasonal moments and everyday member experiences to life.
Location:
This role is based out of our HQ in Beverly Hills, CA and is not eligible for remote. We are presently operating from a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week in-office (Monday-Thursday).
What You'll Do:
This role isn't just about sending campaigns. It's about understanding member behavior, identifying opportunities, influencing cross-functional partners, and turning insights into programs that improve engagement, retention, and revenue.
Own the CRM Strategy
  • Get to know our members better than they know themselves, understanding what motivates them, what drives engagement, where friction exists, and where CRM can create a better experience
  • Turn member insights, business goals, merchandising priorities, and performance data into a clear CRM strategy and roadmap
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, shopping behavior, and revenue across the member lifecycle
  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term member value

Drive Campaign Execution & Performance
  • Execute against metrics that have real impact to the business, including conversion and revenue
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution across email, SMS, and push
  • Lead CRM support for key business moments including Acquisition, Seasonal Box launches, Customization, Add-Ons, Flash Sales, onboarding, retention, and winback
  • Ensure campaigns are targeted correctly, executed flawlessly, and aligned with broader business priorities
  • Develop testing strategies that continuously improve performance and member experience
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency

Be Data-Driven
  • Partner closely with Data & Analytics to define audiences, measure performance, and uncover opportunities
  • Dive deep into campaign performance, customer behavior, and lifecycle trends
  • Understand not just what happened, but why it happened
  • Translate complex data into actionable recommendations and clear business decisions
  • Build a culture of testing, learning, and continuous optimization

Influence Across the Business
  • Serve as the CRM subject matter expert across Marketing and the broader organization
  • Partner with Merchandising, Creative, Product, Engineering, CX, and Analytics to ensure CRM is represented in planning conversations
  • Advocate for the member and ensure CRM programs support both business goals and customer experience
  • Help connect the dots across teams and identify opportunities others may miss

Embrace AI & New Ways of Working
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate campaign planning, audience analysis, reporting, content development, and operational workflows
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies and processes that can help the CRM team work smarter and move faster
  • Challenge legacy processes and identify opportunities for automation and scale

Raise the Bar
  • Mentor and support CRM Coordinators and Specialists
  • Establish best practices around segmentation, testing, QA, reporting, and campaign execution
  • Help create a culture of accountability, curiosity, continuous improvement, and ownership
  • Be someone people trust to solve problems, navigate ambiguity, and get things done

What You'll Bring:
Experience
  • 5-8+ years of CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Marketing, or Email Marketing experience
  • Experience in eCommerce, DTC, subscription, membership, or marketplace businesses
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Deep experience with lifecycle marketing and customer journey design
  • Strong hands-on experience with Braze or comparable CRM platforms
  • Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, testing methodologies, and performance measurement
  • Ability to partner effectively with analytics teams and use data to influence decisions
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into action
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how CRM impacts revenue, retention, and customer lifetime value
  • Experience operating in fast-paced environments where priorities shift frequently
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Curiosity to understand why members behave the way they do, not just what they do
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar platforms to improve productivity and decision-making
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • People enjoy working with you. You build trust, communicate clearly, and elevate the teams around you

What You'll Get! The Benefits & Perks of FabFitFun
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Generous parental leave
  • Company paid holidays (8)
  • Medical, Dental & Vision
  • 401K & 401K Match
  • Pet insurance available for any FFF furry friends
  • Complimentary annual FFF subscription with seasonal $25 credit for ecommerce flash sales
  • Donation matching program via BrightFunds, where the company matches up to $500 in charitable donations per employee annually

Compensation
This is a full-time position with an expected base salary range of $110K - $120K + annual bonus eligibility. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications.
