Key Responsibilities

  • Implement therapeutic techniques including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address client concerns effectively.
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
  • Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and outcomes, ensuring adaptability in care.
  • Engage in collaborative practices with psychiatrists and medical staff to deliver comprehensive care that attends to overlapping mental and physical health needs.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to refine and enhance treatment approaches.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
