Job description

Title:

Program Manager

KBR is seeking a Program Manager to support the Simulator Division (AFLCMC/WNS) and provide staff action and program coordination support to Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC).The ideal candidate will bring strong program management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across organizations, facilitate communication, and drive execution of complex initiatives. While familiarity with facility or infrastructure programs is helpful, success in this role depends on collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to navigate Air Force processes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead program execution across WNS and AFGSC efforts, managing cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
Serve as a Staff Action Officer (SAO), coordinating taskings, communications, and decision support across multiple stakeholders.
Develop, route, track, and close staff packages in alignment with USAF processes and timelines.
Facilitate collaboration across engineering, logistics, acquisition, security, and operational teams.
Coordinate activities across AFLCMC, AFGSC, and other mission partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Support planning and execution of programs related to facilities, infrastructure, and mission systems.
Assist with requirements development, documentation, and program planning activities.
Participate in design reviews, project discussions, and cross-functional working groups as needed.
Identify program risks and issues and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare and deliver briefings, status updates, and decision materials for leadership.
Promote a team-oriented environment that enables efficient communication and problem-solving.

Basic Qualifications (Requirements)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, Construction Management, or related field.
8+ years of experience supporting DoD, USAF, or similar government programs.
Experience coordinating across multiple organizations or stakeholders in a program or project environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage program cost, schedule, and performance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Experience preparing briefings, reports, or staff packages for leadership.
Familiarity with structured processes and documentation in a government or regulated environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Active Secret security clearance
Ability to work near Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Desired Qualifications (Preferred but Not Required)
Experience serving as a Staff Action Officer (SAO) or supporting MAJCOM-level staffing processes.
Familiarity with USAF Civil Engineering (CE) processes or facility/infrastructure programs.
Experience supporting MILCON, facility sustainment, or construction-related projects.
Experience preparing DD Form 1391 or similar programming documentation.
Exposure to design review processes for government projects.
Familiarity with secure facility requirements (e.g., SCIF planning, ICD 705, or similar standards).
Experience supporting AFGSC, AFLCMC, or similar organizations.
Master's degree in a related discipline.
PMP or DAWIA certification.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or eligibility.
Familiarity with budgeting or long-range planning processes (e.g., POM).
