Job description

Purpose of Position/Summary:

The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for reviewing foster care Title IV-E foster care eligibility files, assisting in preparing for the Title IV-E foster care and adoption assistance federal audits, and assisting in providing technical assistance related to Title IV-E.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex data and identify patterns, recommend actions, and measure outcomes
  • Complete timely and accurate reviews of Title IV-E eligibility case records and data
  • Assist in providing technical assistance related to Title IV-E
  • Document case review and eligibility determination findings using a standard protocol
  • Assist in preparing audit files for Title IV-E and adoption assistance federal audits, including the review of cases, identification of audit risks, and development of audit mitigation strategies
  • Update production case logs regularly
  • Identify and document missing required information or documents necessary to support the eligibility determination
  • Assist with writing reports and other deliverables
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership


Skills Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the field of child welfare is required
  • 2+ years of experience in preparing for child welfare federal audits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Visio, Project and other computer software applications
  • Experience in performing deadline-oriented work
  • Ability to quickly understand child welfare business processes and systems that support these processes
  • In-depth data and problem analysis skills using industry-standard means and tools
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required


Position Details:

  • 30 hours a week / 4 days per week
  • Pay: $40/hr.
