As a Business Process Manager for ERP/SAP and logistics systems, you will play a key role at the interface Digital Operations, production units, and IT. You will help stabilize and continuously improve business-critical processes and systems, while also contributing to major transformation programs such as DOT / CGM 2.0.

This role is for someone who understands business processes, manufacturing realities and ERP/SAP system logic - and who can translate between business needs, system capabilities and practical implementation.

  • You act as a senior subject matter expert for SAP ECC 6.0 and related logistics and manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on material management, production planning, PP-PI, production execution, master data and interfaces to connected manufacturing systems.

  • You contribute to Project DOT / CGM 2.0 by supporting the description, analysis and implementation of ERP/SAP-related business processes and system requirements across core logistics, material master and production execution processes.

  • You perform and coordinate process and gap analyses between current and future-state process and system setups, including the comparison of CGM 1.0 and CGM 2.0 / DOT requirements.

  • You serve as a key business-facing interface to Global IT, local SAP support teams and the global ASPIRE program, ensuring that requests, dependencies, decisions and risks are transparent, tracked and escalated where needed.

  • You support the cross-site ERP/SAP deployment strategy for Mannheim and Indianapolis, including feasibility assessments, legacy-system dependencies, ASPIRE alignment and implementation sequencing.

  • You help develop, maintain and execute SAP-related implementation roadmaps, including process design, requirements translation, data migration needs, custom development requirements, interface testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing.

  • You lead or contribute to local and global project teams or sub-streams with your process and system expertise, ensuring that solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with business priorities.

  • You conduct structured root-cause analyses for recurring or production-critical issues and translate learnings into preventive actions, standards and continuous improvements.

  • You review complex business requirements for compatibility with existing methods, specifications and system standards, and translate them into implementable process and system solutions.

  • You develop and maintain training materials, user documentation and knowledge transfer content for key users and end users.

  • You maintain and improve support-related tools, reports and documentation, and contribute to the adoption of new technologies for business process modelling and process improvement.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain / Operations, Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable field.

  • 7 years professional experience or 5 years with a Master's degree, including practical experience in projects or project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have strong conceptual and practical knowledge of business process management, ideally in a manufacturing, logistics, supply chain or operations environment.

  • You have solid process expertise in SAP ECC 6.0, especially in SAP MM, PP, PP-PI, production execution, master data and related business/logistics processes.

  • You understand how ERP/SAP processes interact with manufacturing execution systems, interfaces, scanning systems, output management, IDocs or other connected production systems.

  • You are able to analyze complex system and process issues in a structured way and develop robust, pragmatic and sustainable solutions.

  • You can translate business requirements into system/process requirements - and explain complex technical topics in clear, business-oriented language.

  • You are experienced in requirements gathering, functional testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, training and documentation.

  • You are confident working across functions and sites, including Operations, IT, Global IT, process experts, project teams and business decision makers.

  • Experience with S/4HANA, ASPIRE or large ERP transformation programs is a strong plus.

  • Experience with production, quality, logistics, supply chain or master data processes is highly beneficial.
