Job description

Business Operations Lead
Logos Space is a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite system purpose-built to serve the connectivity needs of commercial enterprise and government users. We will fill an important gap in the market, providing resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity services to enterprise and government customers worldwide. Business customers have contracts with agreed-upon performance standards for their broadband, and Logos will build these capabilities into the system from the beginning. Speed and reliability are the foundation of the system. Logos is designed to extend cloud and data center network connectivity anywhere in the world to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.
Logos is led by a team of highly experienced professionals with proven track records in the networking and satellite industries.
Position Summary & Responsibilities
The Business Operations Lead at Logos will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and Operations and will own the day-to-day orchestration of our cross-functional execution and internal workflows. This is an individual contributor role for a highly organized operator who will take hands-on ownership of the processes that keep our teams moving with speed and reliability. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and removing operational bottlenecks, ensuring that broad strategic goals are translated into structured, efficient daily activity.
This role functions as the practical engine of the company, prioritizing operational efficiency and process optimization over financial modeling or corporate narrative. As a dedicated operator, you will play a vital role in managing project cadences and implementing the structure needed to scale our internal operations. While this is initially an individual contributor role focused entirely on execution, the position offers a clear path to build and scale a team over time as the department's scope grows.
The full responsibilities include:
  • Orchestrate day-to-day cross-functional execution, ensuring alignment and momentum across all departments.
  • Optimize internal workflows and processes to improve speed, reduce waste, and enhance organizational agility.
  • Work closely with the Head of People to manage headcount and associated budget
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks that hinder performance, implementing scalable solutions to maintain system reliability.
  • Manage project cadences, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), Monthly Business Reviews, stand-ups, and inter-departmental communication channels.
  • Define and track operational KPIs (distinct from financial targets) to measure health, efficiency, and progress toward technical milestones.
  • Taking on new initiatives and putting them into action throughout the organization
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years in management consulting, strategic operations, or program management within a fast-paced technology or hardware environment.
  • Proven experience in process engineering or workflow optimization with a focus on removing operational friction.
  • Strong track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and improving inter-departmental communication and execution.
  • Ability to define, implement, and track non-financial operational KPIs and dashboards.
  • Highly organized with exceptional project management skills; comfortable running high-stakes cadences like QBRs, or executive stand-ups.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or another field requiring structured thinking and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or advanced degree in a business or quantitative field.
  • Top-tier management consulting experience combined with in-house startup operating experience.
  • Experience in aerospace, telecommunications, or technology.
