Job Description:

Under the direction of the Business Operations Field Manager, the Business Operations Field Analyst is responsible for the implementation, training, daily maintenance and support of supply chain systems and tools for their assigned facility or entities. The position is a super-user of the supply chain systems and tools for supply chain operations as well as other caregivers utilizing supply chain tools at the site level. The position is detail oriented and works collaboratively with Supply Chain facility leadership. The Analyst applies both business practice and systems knowledge to provide continuous production support.

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Intermountain observed holidays apply. This is an onsite position with no regular remote work or on-call requirements. Occasional additional hours may be required to support projects, go-lives, or other business needs.

This position will be based at the LDS Hospital Materials Management office and will provide support to other local Intermountain facilities as needed.

Preferred qualifications include experience in supply chain operations, procurement, project management, and process improvement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and capable of delivering hands-on training related to system tools and operational processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important, along with experience working with data sets and proficiency using ERP systems, mobile technologies, and other business applications.

Essential Functions

  • Provide site level operational support for supply chain systems and tools. Performs operational system tasks and maintenance as assigned. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Business Operations Manager, may be asked to lead site implementation projects.
  • Troubleshoot assigned site issues related to system functionality and data integrity. Escalates within the Supply Chain Business Operations team as necessary.
  • Collaborates with other Supply Chain Business Analysts to create documentation and training materials.
  • Conducts training and system process certifications.
  • Audits system utilization for optimization opportunities as well as compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate data capture for mass data loads.
  • Recommend system improvements based on user interactions, data analysis, and expertise.
  • Collaborates with supply chain facility leadership.
  • Supply Chain systems and tools super-user. Stays current on new functionality and available reports/dashboards.
