Full-Time Operations Manager

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead one of our core operational departments and help drive performance, efficiency, and team development.
Position Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day performance of a designated operational department. This role focuses on optimizing workflows, developing team members, improving departmental performance, and ensuring operational goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate is an organized, data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building efficient, scalable processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of an assigned department to ensure efficiency, quality, and accountability.
• Monitor departmental key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop, implement, and maintain departmental processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project flow and effective communication.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation within the department.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions that improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable industry regulations.
• Prepare performance reports and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Support departmental budgeting and operational planning initiatives.
• Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture that reflects the company's values.
Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of leadership or operations management experience, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Experience using operational metrics and data to drive decision-making.
• Strong analytical and process improvement mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Solar industry experience is preferred.
