Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a BI and AI Solutions Developer to design, develop, maintain, and modernize business intelligence and operational analytics solutions across the company's manufacturing and business systems landscape.
This is a highly hands-on role responsible for building Power BI dashboards and data models, maintaining and improving existing reporting solutions, integrating operational data across systems, and leveraging modern AI-assisted analytics tools to help drive actionable insights across the business.
The role supports a complex, high-mix electronics manufacturing environment that includes Epicor ERP, FactoryLogix NPI and MES, SMT and shop floor manufacturing equipment, and a broad range of cloud-based CRM, quoting, engineering, and purchasing systems.
This role will work closely with operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership to improve operational visibility, reporting accuracy, manufacturing intelligence, and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, and datasets as the company's primary BI platform
  • Build and maintain operational and executive reporting solutions across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, quality, finance, and customer operations
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted analytics, automation, and copilots to accelerate analysis, identify trends, improve reporting workflows, and generate actionable operational insights
  • Integrate and structure data across a broad operational landscape including:
    • Epicor ERP
    • FactoryLogix NPI and MES
    • SMT and manufacturing equipment
    • Engineering and production systems
    • CRM, quoting, and purchasing platforms
  • Support efforts to connect and model machine and shop floor data to improve visibility into manufacturing performance, inventory accuracy, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Support the development of structured and scalable data models that enable future AI and advanced analytics initiatives
  • Clean up, standardize, and improve existing reports, data sources, datasets, and reporting logic across the organization

Technical Environment
  • Primary BI Platform: Power BI
  • ERP: Epicor Kinetic (on-prem)
  • MES / NPI: FactoryLogix
  • Reporting Stack: SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS
  • Manufacturing Environment: SMT lines, AOI, SPI, shop floor equipment, manufacturing systems
  • Business Systems: CRM, quoting, procurement, and cloud-based operational platforms
  • Infrastructure: Hybrid on-prem/cloud environment
  • Compliance Environment: Export-controlled and customer-sensitive manufacturing environment with global support teams

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Development, or Data Development roles
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including:
    • Data modeling
    • DAX
    • Dashboard and report development
    • Data transformation
  • Advanced SQL proficiency including querying, joins, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Experience developing reports using SSRS

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with ERP data and operational reporting systems
  • Experience working with SSIS and/or SSAS
  • Experience working in regulated or export-controlled environments (ITAR, etc.)
