Job description

The Business Development Manager drives the growth of new sales channels and expands into untapped market segments. Reporting directly to the CEO/Founder, this role balances acquisition of new clients with expansion of existing accounts, leading a medium-sized team of 4 to 10 members. Occasional travel is required to build strategic relationships and explore business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new sales channels and market segments
  • Lead and mentor a medium-sized business development team
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key prospects and partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals
  • Analyze market trends to inform business development strategies
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals
  • Report progress and insights directly to the CEO/Founder
  • Travel occasionally to engage with clients and attend industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development
