Your role as a Business Development Representative

We’re looking for an energetic, driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.


Responsible for generating and sourcing leads, cold emailing and calling prospective new customers, qualifying leads, and setting up demos for our Account Executives. This position offers the right individual the ability to grow quickly within the company and be promoted through the sales team as we grow. You will learn industry best practices and be at the forefront of web 3.0 sales techniques and startup growth strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Source new sales opportunities through online research and cold emails
  • Follow up with inbound MQLs / leads to answer their questions and connect them with an Account Executive
  • Use our sales engagement tools to connect with prospects and introduce them to Loxo's industry leading tech platform
  • Follow our existing playbook and scripts to crush your quota goals and continuously improve upon the process as you pick up steam
  • Research customers, identify key players and contact info, and generate interest by introducing new customer partners to Loxo who we can help improve their organization
  • Book demo opportunities for our AE closers
  • Build and grow a pipeline of customer prospects and help us continue to smash our sales records month over month


The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:


  • High energy, ambitious, intensely driven, competitive, curious, constant learner
  • The ideal candidate will have previous SaaS sales or equivalent experience, but you can be a recent college grad with no experience if you have the right attitude, a hard work ethic and willingness to learn and be coached
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and writing skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic and passion to learn
  • Must be confident and have high energy to work in a fast paced environment
  • Needs to be disciplined and organized
  • Must be a self-starter; you don't need to be motivated by anyone el
