Position Purpose:

In accordance withthe Mission,Core Values,and Vision; theBroker Account Executiveis responsible fordevelopment and implementation of broker education and training programs with the outcome of maximizing the sales and retention of business generated via the broker channel. Serves as the advocate and liaison for the broker community across the enterprise. Develops and builds relationships with the broker community. Makes business development calls, meet with brokers andnetworkto keepMediGold'sproducts top of mind for the brokers.Shares responsibility for membership retention andsalesstrategic planning and management of department actions toward goal and achievement.

What You Will Do:

  • Developand continuouslyrefinebroker support models on behalf of MediGold.

  • Responsible for maintaining frequentcommunicationwith the broker community including information distributed through periodic training events, email and one on one appointments.

  • Assures that escalated inquiries from producers and their staff are handled in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Serves as a resource to help meet assigned sales/membership growth targets, working closely with MediGold's FMO partners to recruit, onboard, train, and routinely interact with the independent broker distribution channel.

  • Maintains and implements MediGold broker support tools related to onboarding and service.

  • Conducts all responsibilities in a manner that meets The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and MediGold ComplianceStandards,and codes of conduct.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in business or marketing (preferred).

  • License / Certification:Active State Insurance License (Health/Disability). Prior to starting, candidates must have passed the state license exam for Accident and Health Insurance and within the following 30 days obtain full licensure status.

  • Experience:2+ years of experience in the health insurance industry specific to sales and marketing roles (related to Medicare Advantage or another government-related insurance line).
