Description

Blue Ribbon Products Co. is an industry leading beverage distributor seeking to hire a Retail Sales Representative. This person will represent Blue Ribbon and its brands to food and beverage retail customers. Sell Import, Domestic and Craft beer brands to bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels and other similar businesses. Primary Responsibilities

  • Sell Blue Ribbon's product portfolio in an assigned territory
  • Maintain weekly schedule of customer appointments
  • Sell and service customers with orders and provide prompt, courteous service
  • Achieve target distribution and volume goals
  • Some night and weekend promotion work
  • Prepare monthly planning and goals and tracks as necessary or required
  • Schedule and attend product promotions, samplings and beer dinners
  • Distribute, track and display various Point of Sale items
  • Coordinate customer training
  • Conduct bartender and staff education, beer tastings and evening promotions
  • Continually maintains training and product knowledge


Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Desire to build a career in beer sales and marketing
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in results-oriented experience in outside sales
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and detail oriented
  • A competitive spirit with assertive, confident personality
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to achieving results
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish goals
  • Ability to lift and move cases and kegs of beer frequently
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point)
