Job description

We are looking for a risk manager to join our Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) team. You will be contributing to the building of a fast-growth trading platform with innovative, multi-asset products bridging traditional finance (TradFi) and digital markets. For all roles, we look for people who are passionate about financial market innovation, equipped with energy, act as owners, and have exemplary work ethics.
Responsibilities
  • Cover daily FCM risk management responsibilities, tracking intraday and end-of-day risk metrics across a multi-asset clearing ecosystem.
  • Handle regulatory requests, inquiries, and exams from relevant authorities (e.g., CFTC, NFA, SEC), ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Monitor mark-to-market (MTM) pricing, settlement price determination, index pricing, and their impacts on client margin requirements.
  • Perform client onboarding risk assessments and conduct ongoing market, credit, and liquidity risk monitoring.
  • Lead new product listing and product design, analyzing market microstructure, asset correlations, and risk implications.
  • Design, calibrate, and review margin models, cross-margining frameworks, and liquidation strategies tailored to FCM requirements and diverse asset types.
  • Conduct quantitative research and scenario analyses to evaluate client and firm resilience.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in risk management, trading, derivatives operations, or a related field (experience with an FCM or broker-dealer is a strong plus).
  • Degree or above in a quantitative discipline, with professional qualifications such as CFA and FRM an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of equities, commodity products, futures, perpetuals, and other derivatives, including their multi-asset pricing mechanics and funding rates.
  • Solid understanding of margin concepts, cross-margining efficiencies, liquidations, and direct trading experience (personal or professional).
  • Familiarity with CFTC, NFA, and SEC regulations is a strong plus.
  • Self-motivated, having the internal drive and motivation to begin and continue tasks independently without supervision.
