You will manage inbound inquiries, conduct outbound follow-ups, and schedule high-quality appointments for the sales and service teams. Success in this role is measured by your ability to convert leads into appointments that drive sales and service opportunities. This role is in person at our Hiwatha location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and qualify leads from inbound calls, outbound calls, website inquiries, online ads, and other marketing channels.

  • Customer Qualification: Assess customer needs, level of interest, and buying timeline to determine if they are a good fit for the sales process, ensuring high-quality leads for the sales team.

  • Appointment Setting: Secure high-quality appointments for the sales team by effectively communicating the value of our dealershipโ€™s inventory, customer service, and promotions.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build trust and rapport with potential customers, ensuring they feel confident and excited about their upcoming visit.

  • Follow-Up & Lead Nurturing: Maintain consistent communication with potential customers through email and phone calls to nurture leads and ensure timely follow-up.
  • CRM & Data Management: Ensure all customer interactions, lead details, and follow-up actions are accurately tracked in our CRM system.

  • Market & Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on dealership inventory, pricing, and promotions to answer customer questions effectively.

  • Performance Tracking: Take ownership of key performance metrics, including appointment show rates and lead-to-sale conversion percentages.

Attributes of a Successful Candidate

  • A Builderโ€™s Mentality: You thrive on learning, adapting, and continuously improving, embracing experimentation and optimization to enhance the BDC environment.

  • Strong Communicator: You can engage customers confidently over the phone, via email, and through online chat.

  • Sales-Driven & Goal-Oriented: You thrive in an environment where performance is measured, and success is rewarded.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: You understand that every interaction is an opportunity to build trust and deliver an exceptional experience.

  • Tech-Savvy & Organized: You are comfortable using CRM systems, managing multiple conversations at once, and keeping track of key data points.

  • Highly Organized & Strong Time Management: You can effectively prioritize tasks, manage a high volume of leads, and follow up consistently to maximize results.

  • Adaptable & Quick Learner: You embrace challenges, adapt to new strategies, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (automotive, RV, or high-ticket sales experience is a plus).

  • Demonstrated ability to convert leads into appointments and drive measurable results.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, online lead management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Military veterans are highly encouraged to apply!

A note about preferred qualifications:

While experience is a plus, Ketelsen RV values a strong willingness to learn and a customer-first mindset. Our comprehensive training program has helped individualsโ€”regardless of prior experienceโ€”develop into highly successful team members. If you are open to learning, understand the importance of relationships, and are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience, we encourage you to apply!

Whatโ€™s in it for YOU
