Job description

Position Summary

The Community President role oversees and maintains the community banking operations for the Richmond branch. This position is critical in building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, community leaders, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Branch Manager to provide leadership to all team members, aligning strategies with the bank’s overall goals.
  • Act as the primary representative of the bank in the local community, fostering positive relationships with customers, businesses, and community leaders.
  • Identify opportunities for business development and growth within the community.
  • Manage and lead team members by example to develop business and relationships, sell products and services, deliver superior customer service, and pursue all bank performance goals and objectives.
  • Assist in preventing, addressing, and resolving customer concerns and issues promptly, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Ensure that all community banking activities comply with relevant regulations and bank policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Three to five years of banking or similar financial experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and credit.
  • Proven track record in team leadership, community engagement, and market development.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.
  • Able and eager to coach, mentor, motivate, and mobilize fellow team members.
  • Dependable and a self-starter.
