  • Paid Leave- 
    • 10 days* of Vacation time – The annual Vacation accrual increases by a day each year for the first 10 years, and an additional half day each year for the next 10 years, reaching the maximum Vacation accrual of 25 days at year 20.
    • 7 days* of Sick, Safe & More (SSMORE) leave- SSMORE accrues at a rate of 1.2 hours for every 40 hours worked. SSMORE is intended to meet sick and safe leave needs, but it can also be used for vacation or other personal leave.
    • 3 Revive & Renew (R&R) days – We understand the importance of unwinding and recharging, so these R&R days are loaded on the first of each year (prorated for new hires based on the quarter in which they’re hired).

      About the Retail Banking Manager Role: 

      A Retail Banking Manager demonstrates positive leadership behaviors and coaching, while facilitating growth and development of branch coworkers. This includes directing branch activities to meet goals including retention, expansion and acquisition of client relationships and service quality. The Retail Banking Manager leads people to perform by assigning work, providing training and guidance, and advising as necessary. Must be an energetic team player who is willing to learn from others and work together in making clients and the bank successful. Required to maintain the security and confidentiality of Bank and client information.  

      Key Responsibilities: 

      • Effectively manage a team while providing support to other business lines within the Yakima Office. 

      • Understands all core bank products and provides appropriate advice, counseling and solutions to client inquiries and issues.  

      • Serves as first line backup to office retail duties as needed, including processing of teller transactions and opening of accounts. 

      • Builds basic knowledge in consumer lending and business lending. 

      • Works to train, grow and develop team members to help them achieve their career goals.  

      • Ensures good internal relationships among all business lines. 

      • Maintains Baker Boyer culture and core values by executing and communicating direction and vision to the Yakima Office. 

      • Monitors the effectiveness of Our Service Commitment and make suggestions for process improvements as applicable. 

      • Is available to staff, provides regular performance feedback, and develops coworker skills to encourage growth. Inspires employees in goal setting, goal attainment and career advancement. 

      • Maintains branch security and the day-to-day functions of the Office and works proactively to proactively resolve issues including fraud and physical security. 

      • Coordinates and oversees management of public and private events within the Yakima  Office. 

      • Maintains satisfactory performance of branch as it pertains to retail banking operations and compliance regulations. 

      • Oversees the day-to-day management of operations and identify opportunities to optimize processes and enhance service levels. 

      • Participates in community activities to increase the Bank’s visibility and enhance new and existing business opportunities. 

      • Keeps staff informed of pertinent changes in retail operational policy and procedures. 

      • Allocates and coordinates workflow within their own team 

      • Ensures staffing coverage is sufficient for the needs of the Yakima Office. 

      • Answers questions and resolves problems presented by direct reports and other coworkers throughout the bank.

      Knowledge/Skills/Experience: 

      Generally requires 3-6 years banking and leadership experience; or related work experience; or education consisting of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
