About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established financial institution, to identify an experienced Banking Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving business development efforts, and leading a customer-focused team in achieving performance goals.
Job Description:
The Banking Manager will lead the daily operations of a retail banking location while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and team performance. This role combines branch leadership, business development, employee coaching, and regulatory compliance to support overall branch success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee daily branch activities and customer service operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and community partners.
  • Identify opportunities to grow deposits, services, and customer relationships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop branch employees through coaching and performance management.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Resolve customer concerns and ensure a positive banking experience.
  • Ensure adherence to banking regulations, internal procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Monitor branch security protocols and operational controls.
  • Support new employee onboarding and completion of required compliance training.
  • Promote a positive, results-driven culture focused on teamwork and service excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as a Banking Manager, Branch Manager, or similar banking leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a retail banking environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales, referral, and customer service goals.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.

Additional Details:
  • Extensive knowledge of retail banking products and services preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
  • Ideal candidates will have prior Banking Manager or Branch Manager experience and a strong track record of leading high-performing teams.
