Job description

Grandaisy bakery is hiring two experienced, hard-working bakers to help with the production of our award-winning bread at our TriBeCa location. We are hiring full-timeand part-time bakers. The position is ideal for anyone looking to further his/her careerin the NYC baking scene.

Qualifications:

Must have five to seven (5-7) years of experience baking high volumes of bread

Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment

Must be able to mix, shape and bake Artisanal Italian bread.

Must have excellent organization and communication skills

Supervisory experience is a plus

NYC DHMH food protection certificate a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:

Mixing ingredients in a mixer

Shaping bread

Loading, bakingand cleaning ovens

Helping other bakers maintain a clean and organized bakery environment

Starting Salary:

$17 - $20 per hour
