About the Role
We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery-Mixing, you will be accountable for producing consistent, high-quality dough by accurately mixing ingredients according to established recipes while maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards.
Core Accountabilities (What You’ll be Doing)
  • Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure consistent dough quality and adherence to recipes
  • Control ingredient measurements, mixing times, and temperatures to meet product specifications
  • Support production flow by ensuring timely dough availability aligned with line capacity
  • Maintain accurate production records and enter mixing data into SAP systems
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards at all times
  • Inspect equipment, verify scale accuracy, and maintain proper functionality of mixing tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including sanitation of equipment and storage areas
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of mixer or related production experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and operate mixing equipment with minimal supervision
  • Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to read scales and temperature gauges
  • Ability to accurately document production and ingredient data
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a production environment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use operating screens and systems
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)
  • Experience in a fast-paced food production or bakery environment
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar production tracking systems
  • Knowledge of dough mixing processes, fermentation, and temperature control
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
