  • Summary:
    • We are seeking a skilled and dependable Bagger Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift production team.
    • The Bagger Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, sanitizing, and performing necessary maintenance on bagging machines and other production equipment.
    • The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food production environment.
    • This position focuses on meeting production goals while minimizing waste and rework and maintaining high standards for food and workplace safety.
    • Candidates who successfully complete the required contract hours and meet performance expectations may have the opportunity to transition to direct hire.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Operate automated film wrappers, baggers, molders, and other production machinery according to product specifications.
    • Set up and monitor machinery to maximize production and minimize waste and rework.
    • Perform quality checks, food safety checks, and complete all required production paperwork accurately.
    • Troubleshoot equipment as necessary and perform routine cleaning and general maintenance of the workspace.
    • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety procedures, and workplace safety guidelines.

  • Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous machine operation experience preferred.
    • Working knowledge of safety practices, including LOTO, PPE, and machine guarding.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Basic computer and math skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Ability to work in variable indoor temperatures, including cold environments around 32°F.
    • Reliable attendance and a dependable work ethic.
