Now Hiring: Sr. Specialist, Logistics JIT/JIS Process Engineer

Blythewood, South Carolina

Pinnacle Talent Recruiter, LLC is seeking an experienced Sr. Specialist, Logistics JIT/JIS Process Engineer for a valued client in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

*Develop and optimize JIT/JIS processes and logistics equipment.

*Lead material flow operations across manual and automated systems.

*Partner with suppliers to improve delivery performance and operational efficiency.

*Support integration of automated unloading and logistics technologies.

*Coordinate logistics strategies with production and planning teams.

*Drive cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

*8+ years of automotive logistics, supply chain, or JIT/JIS experience.

*Strong knowledge of VDA, ISO, and automotive compliance standards.

*Experience with TMS, WMS, material flow planning, and change management.

*Proven leadership, problem-solving, and supplier management skills.

*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

Onsite role requiring 4–5 days per week with occasional travel as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

*Logistics JIS at an OEM

*8 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or JIT/JIS process management within the automotive industry preferred

*Experience and knowledge of VDA, ISO and other standards and regulations for the automotive industry. Experience in performing process AUDITs is required.

*Strong understanding of Change Management principles, including steering and evaluating Change requests, and their application in automotive environments.

*Experience with route optimization and traffic management tools/software (e.g., TMS, WMS), JIS logistics, and/or material flow planning.
