Responsibilities
The Automotive Internet Sales Consultant is responsible for assisting customers to find the perfect vehicle that meets their needs and providing an exceptional guest experience through the sales process.
  • Respond promptly to inbound Internet, phone, text, and digital leads.
  • Manage follow-up and set appointments using CRM, email, phone, and SMS.
  • Coordinate and confirm showroom visits and test drives.
  • Use consultative selling skills to help customers select the right vehicle.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Stay knowledgeable on vehicle models, features, and competitive offerings.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing questions and concerns.
  • Take ownership of the customer journey to create a strong dealership impression.

Qualifications
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of previous automotive Internet sales experience within a dealership
  • The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed & strong negotiation skills
  • A passion for helping people find their dream cars
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing attitude
  • A drive to succeed and build a lasting career
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License

Compensation
  • The estimated annual earnings for this position are $35,152.00 - $150,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, etc.

Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.
