Job description

Sales Specialist – Cactus Jack’s Auto / Drive Now (Phoenix, Mesa, Avondale, AZ)

Cactus Jack’s Auto / Drive Now Auto Sales is a rapidly growing automotive sales and finance company with locations across Arizona and Texas. With 18 dealerships today and a strategic plan to scale to 50 nationwide, we are building a high-performance sales organization focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping people secure reliable transportation—regardless of their credit situation.

If you’re a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, lead-rich environment and knows how to close, this is an opportunity to build a strong income and long-term career with a company on the rise.

The Role

As a Sales Specialist, you are the face of our business and the driver of our customer experience. You will manage inbound and outbound opportunities, build relationships, and guide customers through the vehicle purchase and financing process.

This is not an order-taking role—we are looking for professionals who can actively engage, follow up, overcome objections, and close deals consistently.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage and convert inbound leads generated through our strong marketing efforts
  • Proactively drive business through outbound calls, emails, and text communication
  • Manage and track all activity within our CRM (notes, dispositions, follow-ups, tasks)
  • Build rapport and uncover customer needs using a consultative sales approach
  • Present vehicle and financing options aligned with customer budgets
  • Clearly explain our Buy-Here Pay-Here (BHPH) process and payment structures
  • Collect and verify required documentation (“stips”) to ensure fundable deals
  • Overcome objections and confidently guide customers to a purchase decision
  • Deliver a professional, seamless, and high-quality customer experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales ability with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Strong closer with the ability to handle objections and ask for the sale
  • Professional presence—well-spoken, polished, and customer-focused
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a CRM-driven sales environment
  • Self-starter mindset—you don’t wait for business, you create it
  • Resilient, competitive, and driven to succeed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles (automotive is a plus)
  • Comfortable with phone-based and digital communication (call, text, email)
  • Basic computer and CRM proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Availability to work retail hours, including Saturdays and most holidays
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus

Why Cactus Jacks?

  • High Lead Volume: Significant marketing investment means consistent opportunities
  • Earning Potential: Performance-driven environment with strong upside for producers
  • Career Growth: We promote from within—opportunities into management, underwriting, and leadership
  • Stability + Growth: Backed by an aggressive expansion plan across multiple markets
  • Make an Impact: Help customers secure transportation and improve their financial future

Who Thrives Here

Top performers in this role are:

  • Competitive and results-driven
  • Disciplined with follow-up
  • Comfortable asking for the sale
  • Energized by a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Passionate about helping customers while still driving results

If you’re looking for a role where your effort directly impacts your income and career trajectory—and you want to be part of a company that’s growing fast—we’d like to connect.

NOTE Compensation: As a Sales Specialist, you will earn a $45,000 base salary from day one, plus limitless uncapped commission unlocking immediately after successfully completing a 2–4 week training phase.
