The Role
UTG is committed to delivering exceptional audio-visual solutions and services. We value dedication, innovation, and a customer-first approach in everything we do. Our Lead Audio-Visual Technicians are integral to our success, and we rely on their expertise to get the job done right. This position is based out of our headquarters in Fishers and will require travel to client sites in the surrounding Indianapolis area. Occasional out-of-state travel will be required (once per month, on average). However, if hired to service our largest customer, travel is much more frequent with out-of-state travel being weekly. This position offers the convenience of a company van, allowing you to travel directly from your home to various worksites.
Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of audio-visual technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Project Preparation: Assist in the preparation for audio-visual projects, including testing equipment and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available and accounted for.
  • Project Execution: Install audio-visual technology for standard and custom projects. Help manage project timelines and expectations.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues that arise during projects to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and engineers to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Customer Interaction: Represent UTG professionally when interacting with customers, upholding the company's values of service and excellence.
  • Travel: This position is based out of our headquarters in Fishers and will require significant travel to client sites in the surrounding Indianapolis area. Occasional out-of-state travel will be required (Typically once a month or less). However, if hired to service our largest customer, travel is much more frequent with out-of-state travel being weekly.
