Position: Athletic Director  Location: Montabella Community Schools Posting Date: June 29, 2026 Anticipated Start Date: August 1, 2026 Salary: Salaried position in accordance with experience Desired Qualifications:
  • Educational Administration
  • Athletic Administration Certification or Background
  • 3 years of successful teaching/coaching experience preferred
  • other skill sets to benefit the district (behavior specialist, data entry, technology, state and federal programs, etc.)

  • Assumes all responsibility for all functions related to athletic operations (schedules, budget, ordering, hiring, game management, transportation, etc)
  • Facilitate collaboration among athletic coaches and buildings including administration
  • Assists building administration in maintaining proper student conduct and student discipline
  • Supervises the daily use of school facilities for both academic and athletic purposes
  • Serve on the administrative team, weigh in on key decisions and help set the future vision of the district
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with staff and community
