Job Description: Rockbox Fitness Roseville Associate Trainer

Pre-Launch Scope of Duty

Familiarize and complete Rockbox University online training modules

  • In Charge of all training activities
  • Lead person in charge in-person and remote marketing and outreach
  • Lead management: Call, Text, Email, and any other out-reach tool agreed upon and available)
  • Manage and arrange prospective customer orientations
  • Prospective customer engagement while in the studio
  • Attend weekly team meetings
  • Familiarize with Club Ready Program (class booking platform)
  • Manage Rockbox Roseville Head Trainer email as needed

Normal Daily Studio Operations

  • Responsible for overall studio operations in collaboration with the studio manager
  • Manage all training staff
  • Creating and maintaining class schedule
  • Work directly with General Manager to increase studio utilization and workout traffic
  • Provide and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Maintain a clean and orderly studio
  • Lead a minimum 20 classes per week
  • Audit at least 2 classes per week, this includes completing trainer evaluations and agreeing on areas of improvement
  • Deliver pre-designed workouts
  • Contribute to Social Media utilization and creation of weekly specials to promote in the studio as well as during class times
  • Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
  • Being the subject matter expert when it comes to training and fitness in the studio
  • Lead management: Call, Text, Email, and any other out-reach tool agreed upon and available
  • Assist during and between classes (Not a primary responsibility)
    • Reset and clean the equipment for the workout so it is ready for the next session
    • Demonstrate exercises for anyone needing assistance, and guide members to the next station if necessary.
  • Actively and positively engage with current customers
  • Onboard and train assistant trainer with Rockbox University
  • Other duties as assigned
